Stars, sky and sun

The continuously shifting clouds
send the beams of sunlight
dancing on the slopes of the hills.

Corridors of sunlight
shift planes between the leaves
and the petals fall like snow.

The darkness outside is glittering
like a star studded sky with tiny specks of green light.
it is especially beautiful when they fly over the pond and the water mirrors the flickers.
Jugnus are amazing!

Walking on a ridge on top of the world
numb with cold, saturated
with the magnificence of the mountains all around
in the blue light of dawn.

Staring into the deep depths of the blue black sky,
as a gentle breeze ruffles the ground,
and the drifting cloud puffs show and tell the stars.

Finally

I've been trying to click a photograph of these two birds for quite some time now but never managed to. I was really happy to get it finally and that too both on the same day. The first is a Hoopoe and the second the Indian Roller or Neelkanth.

Young leaves and the setting sun

The Cyclist

This was a collaboration with my younger brother Dinkar. The drawings are done by him on a blackboard we have at home.
